The possibility of cancellation depends on the current status of your application:

If the application has already been submitted to the authorities: It is not possible to cancel or receive a refund. Once the data has been sent to the competent country, the government fees have been paid and our management work has been completed, as stipulated in our Terms and Conditions.

If the application has not yet been processed: you can request a cancellation and a full refund. To manage this, you must complete our contact form complying with the following:

  • Application information: In the message, clearly indicate the reason “Service cancellation” and include Passport country (nationality) and Country for which you are applying for the visa (destination).

Note: Refunds cannot be processed if the contact details do not match those of the applicant in our system.

Can my visa or electronic travel authorization application be rejected?

Yes, there is a possibility that an application may be rejected. It is important to understand that the final decision to grant or deny a visa or authorization (such as ESTA or eTA) depends exclusively on the government authorities of the destination country.

However, at MyTripVisa we work to maximize your chances of success:

Error reduction: Most rejections occur due to typos, incomplete data, or incorrect documents. Our technology and expert team review your information to correct these flaws before official submission.

Denial criteria: A government may deny an application for security reasons, legal background, previous immigration violations, or for not meeting the country’s specific requirements.

What is a visa?

A visa is an official authorization granted by a country that allows a foreign citizen to enter and stay legally in its territory for a specified period and purpose (such as tourism or business). Currently, most destinations process this document electronically (e-Visa), digitally linking it to your passport to avoid in-person procedures at embassies and speed up your passage through border control.

What is an ESTA or eTA?

An ESTA (United States) or an eTA (Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, among others) is an electronic travel authorization for citizens of countries that do not require a visa for short stays. Unlike a traditional visa, it is a much faster and simplified process handled entirely online. Its function is to perform a security pre-screening of the traveler before they board their flight, allowing for a smoother entry into the destination country.
